On May 15, 2022, Charlotte Fire Department responded to a deck on fire at 5730 S Stine. While en route we were advised that the house was now on fire. We requested Olivet Fire Dept. to respond with a tanker. We arrived and found a double-wide with fire coming from the front and through the roof. We also requested Bellevue for a tanker and Benton Twp Fire to respond to our station for coverage. We were able to extinguish the fire within 15 minutes and no one was injured. Our response time from dispatch to arrival was just over 6 minutes.
