Charlotte, MI – This afternoon at 1:15pm Charlotte Fire Department was dispatched to reported three vehicle accident on Lansing Road and Packard Highway. A Charlotte Firefighters arrived on scene and found three vehicles involved, a pickup truck on its side, a box truck and a SUV. The female driver of the SUV was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated from the vehicle by Charlotte Firefighters. The driver of the box truck had minor injuries was able to exit the vehicle himself. The female driver of the pickup truck was found to have no pulse and not breathing inside the pickup truck. She was pronounced deceased on scene.

Charlotte firefighters were on scene with Benton Township EMS, Eaton Area EMS, Charlotte Police and Eaton County Sherriff.
