Consumers Energy also arrived at the scene, after receiving multiple calls. We had several units checking the area as well as 2 Consumer representatives. After several hours of investigation, we believe this smell is not a Natural gas issue as well as NOT hazardous. We believe the smell is coming from the south of the subdivision but have not located a cause for the odor. The smell has since dissipated, and we have cleared the area. We will continue our investigation in the daylight, or if the odor returns.
