1pm CFD was dispatched to reported house explosion on Stewart Road. Units arrived to find a fully involved house fire and two people injured. The adult male had serious burns and a small child was treated on scene. Eaton Area EMS transported the male to Lansing Spartow hospital. CFD was assisted by Benton EMS, Eaton Area EMS, Olivet FD, Vermontville FD, Hamlin FD, Eaton Rapids city and Twp FD and Bellevue FD. CFD is being assisted by Michigan State Police Fire Marshall disunion with the investigation.
